Camp Photos

Wow, what a thrilling camp last week! Here are some photos. Room 6 children are working on their camp recounts this week. I am excited to see the effort they are putting in to have 'sticky' words and clever phrases throughout their recounts.

Silly group photo with some of Room 6!

We walked the Wairakau Stream Track like real hikers. Should have taken a class photo...
Chilling out at Lanes Cove Cottage after a few hours hiking. Some of us went for a dip with Tilly and Mr Prickett. A kayaking crew were staying the night at the DOC hut.

Team Too Much! We hiked that bit extra to get the unbeatable view of the Whangaroa Harbour. Dukes Nose is the name of the peak and you must be a confident climber to summit it!

Mr Prickett making his way up the treacherous track!

Taking a short rest in between games of spotlight.

Wonderful family helpers keeping everyone safe and well supervised during the swims at Cooper's Beach.

We went looking for seeds with Jackie. We want to learn how to germinate native seeds.

Kiriana made the most of the waterslide.

 Way too much fun.

Another group photo

Kayden on his way down the humongous waterslide.

 Spirit enjoying the moment.

 Three's a crowd...

Lenore is focused on the obstacle course competition. Who can get a point at each station?

Taking on the challenge.
