It's Been A While!

Week 6 Teacher's Awards and CARE award recipients.

Well, it's been a while since I have posted to the class blog. A lot has happened. We have finished off our speeches. The class was blessed to have two amazing women as the judge of the class speeches: Allison Shaw (my mum) and Gail Erueti (Ocian's nana). We really appreciated their time and feedback. See photos below of the day.

After presenting to the school, Tiffany was chosen to represent Christian School at the Rotary Speech Competition on the 20th July at RSA.

In Science we have made a model to demonstrate the process water goes through in during the water cycle. It was great to see and learn about the stages and why the occur. This week we will begin our explanation writing and learning to write great cause and effect sentences.

I must get some photos of our Physical Education lessons. The class has been working on ball handling skills that will support their games in ripper. Added to this PE has included a weekly lesson with Trina on netball skills. My word, Room 6 has a bunch of excellent player. I think the boys are beginning to love netball too.
